dear damian,thank you for replying to the message i put out on the site. i have known davefor about twelve years since meeting him on the bank at lifelands ringwood.he always stops and has a chat with me, and only knows me as derek from crawley in sussex. the only places i fish are the hampshire avon or the dorset stour,and i travel down to this area once a week.the reason i would like to speak with him or contact him, as i have not seen him on the bank this year yet, is that i badly need some help regarding my fishing. can you believe that i have not had a bite for a whole season and a half. ive tried different rigs,lines,baiting up procedures and baits. however went to longham last week and had a 7lb 10oz chub after seeing only chub in the swim,the sad part is all i wanted to do was get the fish back into the water,which i did and never took a photo of it.it was witnessed by by my mate who was fishing with me.although this makes up for all those blanks i cant help feeling that i am still not fishing the right way as i should.i just love fishing for barbel.so that is the reason i would like to have a chat with him.thank you so much for contacting the site,and i hope i havn,t bored you to much. derekfisherman"aol.com
