Bickerley Mill Stream 03/11/07

Just back from two hours at the Bickerley Mill Stream. Started off by trotting just above the footbridge/ford for an hour; 4 dace, 1 chub (about a pound), I small roach, some bleak and a stickleback on caster! Then tried with the cage feeder in a swim I had chub from at the start of 2006, an hour of staring at a static tip until I missed a good bite on flake at the end. Hey ho! GG

Doesn't sound too bad a winter trip, apart from the last hour. Sometimes staring so long at the static makes you wonder whether you are seeing things when the bite does come along!
