I had seen a note of it and am quite suprised they let it go. However I'm don't think it will have a major impact on their membership as they still have some excellent waters, and their membership has always been realtively costly even before they attained the Royalty.
To be honest I've always found the Royalty to be overly busy when I've fished it ( at summer weekends ), so maybe this will quieten the stretch down ?
I joined Ringwood when they bought Throop as it is a place I fish quite reguarly as it is near to home, the other reason being that you could join mid year rather than have to join in January as is the case with Christchurch.
Maybe the fact that RDAA have since got Throop they will get some converts from the CAC, but I'd be suprised if it was a large number.
