Does anyone have any info on fishing the Avon at Bisterne ?

dear chris,the fishing opens on the 1st of august until the 1st of october. this is only a short time that is all due to the salmon fishing. there is some very big fish in here.

dear chris,sorry for replying a bit late.go down the lane that is on a bend where the sign says course fishing. this is about two milescoming out of ringwood on the old christchurch road,the cottage is on the right opposite the river layby alsoopposite.go into the porch fill in the form put money in envelope, think its eight pound then put through letterbox.now the swim wher i have seen the biggest fish. turn the car round go backout to the main roadturn right keep going for about a mile and you will see the sign for north endgo down here for about quartermile wher you will see a very narrow track on left and an old cottage you can drive down this track but take it very very slow.over a little bridge across the field,andupto the style infront of the river.go rond to the left where the bank juts out,theres a big deep hole here you will see the fish here.good luck.derekfisherman@aol.com
