Em not a great start to the campaign Chris, but getting bankside is the first step and one I've been failing to make.  With the 16th beckonning, I notice the streamer weed is back with a vengance on the Avon.  For a variety of reasons I only got bankside once in May and must do better in June.  I've Friday booked off, but events are already working against a dawn start.  Started last season with a pound and a half chub from the Lymington River during a short evening section, a trick I'm unlikley to repeat following last year's pollution spill into the river.

Good luck. you'll turn the coner next time out!  Indeed good luck to all Chris' readers for the 16th and beyond!
