Description
This is a free stretch of the Dorset Stour, which starts near the boundary of Throop Fisheries, beat 1 near the water works at Boundry Lane, and runs for about a mile up river to its upper limit at Brecon Close which is by the Northborne roundabout. (Just head up New road from the roundabout and there is a dead end road a few yards up on the right – Brecon Close – you can park at the end of here.)
Parking is also available in Granby Road car park off Muscliffe Lane, and it is a short walk from here to the River Bank. There is also parking in the road that runs parallel to wimborne road by Redhill roundabout and there is another path from here to the river.
No day ticket is required, but you will need a Rod Licence of course.
Rules
Fishing is from the south bank only as all the other banks is Ringwood and District AA.
