Throop Beat 3.  7-10.30pm

Went to fish at the new spot on beat 3, opposite the golf course.  We fished the lower of the two swims and had a few bites on the pellets.  Nothing seemed to stick. 

We started to pack up at 10.15, when Pete's rod bleeped a couple of times and then sent the rod stand toppling over.  He retrieved the line and landed a 6.5lb bream.

The nights drama was not yet over though as returning to the car which I had parked in the designated place at the golf center, we were unable to exit the car park though due to two locked gates.  So a long walk home was in order. 

Won't park there again in the evenings.
