Severals 12-7pm

Pete and I went to the members are of the Ringwood and District Angling Associations Severals River, and went to the first bend along after buying a new net following the busting session from Wednesday night. 

Seeing a good spot between the weeds we cast out our hair rigged halibut pellets.  About 3pm Pete struck into a 5 3/4lb chub to christen the new net.  

After unhooking and returning the fish, he noticed a slug on the unhooking mat that seemed to say to him, use me I will catch you a fish.  So he did and did.  Another chub of 5 1/2lbs!

I blanked but then could at least point to the barbel caught midweek to partly shut him up!
