Saturday 3rd June 2006

11.30am till 7pm

Fished the top end of Sopley lake on a really improved weather day.  Boy did it feel hot, though it was only about 24C.  The 7 degree jump made me almost glad that the fish did not get on the bait.

A couple of guys across the lake caught a reasonable sized carp.  But on the 3rd session of the year I managed to complete a hat trick of blanks.  (Not unusual I might add,  sometimes you wish you'd bought some maggots along to catch so smaller fish to ensure a catch!)
